Where Dangriga is Located

Dangriga, Stann Creek is situated 120 miles south of the Belize International Airport; 86 miles east of the Melchor de Mencos Border; 144 miles south of the Chetumal, Mexico Border; and 85 miles north of Punta Gorda, Toledo. You can travel to Dangriga by public bus, scheduled flight, taxi, or by private charter. Scheduled bus runs are also available between Dangriga and Hopkins (18 miles south) and Placencia (46 miles south).

Southern Bus Route

For travel from Belize City to Punta Gorda with stops at Belmopan, Dangriga, Placencia, and Independence.

Western Bus Route

For travel to or from San Ignacio or Benque Viejo. Western Bus Line begins at Belmopan, so travelers will need to take the Southern Bus Line from Dangriga to Belmopan and then get onto Western Bus Line to their destination. Vice Versa.

For travel from Belize city to Orange Walk and Corozal. From Dangriga, take the Southern Bus line to connect to the Northern Bus line.
